1. Overview & Service Scope
MFC Footy (“we”, “us”, or “our platform”) operates an independent football card game through a Discord bot and a web companion located at https://mfcfooty.app.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is processed to support gameplay, how browser storage is utilized, and how you can exercise your data rights.
2. Information We Process
We process the minimum information necessary to maintain your game account, card inventory, and competitive rankings:
A public numeric identifier assigned by Discord, used as the primary key to link your card collection, virtual currency balances, and active squad to your account.
Your Discord display name and avatar image URL, cached to display your manager profile on leaderboards, squad sharing cards, and match history.
Virtual card inventory, rank levels, Market House transactions, squad formations, cooldown timestamps, and Arena division records.
Messages and tactical reactions submitted within multiplayer Battle or Tournament rooms are visible to room participants.
Discord OAuth Scope: We only request the basic identify scope. We do not request access to your email address, private Discord messages, friend lists, or server management credentials.
3. Cookies & Browser Storage
MFC Footy uses the following cookies and device-local storage for authentication, gameplay, and user preferences. Our advertising status is described separately below:
| Storage Key | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| mfc_session | HTTP-only Cookie | Cryptographically signed authentication token verifying your active Discord session. | 30 days |
| localStorage | Client Storage | Stores local squad builder drafts, audio preferences, and interface view settings. | Persistent until cleared |
| IndexedDB | Client Database | Stores offline Card Studio custom card designs and canvas layers locally. | Persistent until cleared |
4. Advertising & Third-Party Tracking
Ad placements and Google's advertising script are currently disabled. We publish Google AdSense account verification information and an authorized seller declaration as part of our advertising application. These verification records do not load advertisements or set advertising cookies.
If Google advertising is enabled in the future, Google may receive your IP address, browser and device information, and information about the page you visit. Google and other third-party advertising providers may place or read cookies, use web beacons, or use other identifiers to deliver, measure, and personalize advertising when ads are served.
Read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services and manage personalization through Google My Ad Center. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking authentication cookies may prevent you from signing in.
Before enabling ad placements, we will update this notice to reflect the advertising providers in use and provide the consent choices required for visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other applicable regions, including a Google-certified Consent Management Platform where required.
5. Infrastructure & Service Providers
MFC Footy utilizes reputable infrastructure providers to deliver its services:
- Discord Inc.: OAuth2 authentication identity provider.
- Supabase / PostgreSQL: Secure cloud database hosting game records.
- OVHcloud: VPS server infrastructure running application processes.
- Cloudflare: Edge security, SSL/TLS termination, DDoS protection, and website performance analytics. Browser performance measurements help us investigate slow page loads.
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You have the right to request access to the personal data associated with your Discord user ID or request its complete deletion from our database.
To submit an account deletion request, please contact us through our official Discord support server or via the contact channels listed on our Contact page. Upon verification of your Discord identity, all associated inventory, balance, and squad records will be permanently removed.
