How to Play MFC Footy

Your MFC Footy account is linked to your Discord account. There are no separate passwords or emails required. Signing in with Discord on the website or typing commands in a Discord server where the bot is installed connects you to the same persistent player profile, card inventory, coin balance, and active squad.

MFC Footy features regular reward timers to help you expand your club:

• Hourly Drop (/claim): Available every 60 minutes. Awards coins and a random player card. On the web dashboard, you can reroll this card once per claim.
• Daily Drop (/daily): Available every 24 hours. Awards larger coin and gem sums to fund market and draft activities.
• Weekly & Monthly Drops: Higher-tier rewards containing rare packs and Mascherano rank-up tokens.

Every card in your inventory is an independent instance with its own rank level (0 to 5). You can upgrade cards using Mascherano Tokens from the web dashboard or inventory modal. Each rank upgrade adds +1 to effective OVR and provides attribute boosts that significantly elevate the card's Prominent Rating.

Use the Lock feature in your inventory to prevent valuable cards from being sold accidentally in the Market House.

In MFC Footy, two main metrics measure card capability:

To compete in matches, you must assemble an Actual squad in the Squad Builder:

• Ownership Required: You can only place cards you actually own in your starting XI or bench.
• No Duplicate Players: You cannot field two versions of the same player (e.g. two versions of Lionel Messi), even if they are distinct card editions.
• Activation: Once your starting XI has 11 eligible players, click "Activate Squad" to save it as your official match lineup.

Chemistry directly influences match performance. Points (0 to 33) are generated by linking adjacent players who share:

Icons & Heroes: Icon cards provide universal nation links, while Hero cards offer enhanced league chemistry points.

Planning a major signing? Use Concept Squads to test cards before buying them. Search any of the 54,000+ cards in the master database and place them on your pitch to preview chemistry links and formation fit.

Open the Decision Room to compare up to 4 cards side-by-side. The tool highlights which positions are eligible, calculates net squad PR changes, and displays Market House affordability.

Once your squad is activated, enter the match arena:

• Arena (/arena): Asynchronous competitive ladder match. Winning earns division points and increases your weekly rank standing.
• Friendly (/friendly): Unranked exhibition match against any server member or friend for tactical testing without risking rank points.

Challenge players in real-time match rooms. Choose between:

Spend coins on the Market House to purchase missing positions, or save gems to unlock draft vouchers and premium Lucky Box pulls. Monitor your cooldowns on the web dashboard to maximize your daily coin and gem earnings.
